Don't forget next Sunday, July 13 is the date of the Greater Binghamton Air Show 2003 presented by the Giant Markets and Newman Development Group.

Pilots from across the United States will converge at the Greater Binghamton Airport to dazzle spectators with speed, precision maneuvering and amazing acts of courage. The air show performer line-up includes the United States Air Force F-16 East Jet Demonstration Team, the All-American Firebirds, Drew Hurley Aerobatics, Kevin Russo and his T-6 Texan, a B-25 Mitchell from the Mid-Atlantic Air Museum, Split Image Aerobatic Team, and the YAK-9 Demonstration Team. In a breathtaking patriotic salute to our country, a P-51 Mustang will fly simultaneously with a United States Air Force F-16 Jet in a performance called a Heritage Flight

Air Show gates will open at 10:00 a.m. with flying tentatively starting about 12:00 p.m. The Air Show will conclude at approximately 4:00 p.m. Discount admission tickets ($1 savings on each ticket) can be purchased prior to the event at all area Giant Markets. Tickets bought on July 13 will be $7.00 for adults (17 years and older) $5.00 for children (8 to 16 years of age) and children under 8 are free. Tickets may be purchased at the admissions area of the air show event. A $1 parking fee to benefit local participating service organizations will be collected the day of the event.
