Earth Day Green Initiative Recognition

Nominate a Local Business for their Environment-friendly Programs

In honor of Earth Day (April 22nd), the Broome County Legislature would like to recognize businesses that have displayed exemplary leadership and innovative practices to improve our environment. We are looking for businesses that have instituted creative environmental programs that go above and beyond the mandated regulations. The proclamations will honor large and small business, non-for-profit organizations, and educational institutions. Eligible institutions will be assessed by a pollution prevention general survey that will address waste management, pollution reduction, energy efficiency and the use of safer chemicals.

You are cordially invited to facilitate our recognition program by nominating up to three businesses of your choice.
