"Child Abuse Recognition and Reporting"November 6, 2008 from 6-9 pm. at Cornell Cooperative Extension - 840 Upper Front St.. Binghamton, NY This seminar meets the requirements for many licensed professionals in New York State that are mandated reporters of child abuse and neglect. The Family Violence Prevention Council is certified by the New York State Education Department to provide this training in Broome County. The seminar addresses the obligations of mandated reporters in NYS, an overview of the NYS Child Protective System and how to recognize and how to report suspicions of child abuse and neglect.
