After 20+ years operating it's upstate NY Offices out of the Lt. Warren E. Eaton Airport (Norwich, NY), Gama Aviation has recently relocated it's NY offices to the Greater Binghamton Airport. The move brings a handful of employees to the airport along with two additional business jet aircraft bringing the total aircraft based in Binghamton to (3). Their BGM fleet now consists of (2) light jet Citation II aircraft and (1) midsize jet Hawker 800XP aircraft.
Gama feels that the move better positions them for their clients in the upstate NY area while allowing them to operate out of a more viable and centralized airport. Plus, BGM is only a short flight (36 minutes) from the NY Metropolitan area allowing them to also provide competitive charter services in that area as well.
