Located across from the baggage claim, the Visitors Center at the Greater Binghamton Airport offers travelers a convenient place to find information about the Greater Binghamton Area along with many other surrounding counties. The Visitor Center offers brochures and directions for lodging, entertainment, local attractions, regional highlights and area maps. Recently, services at the Visitors Center have been enhanced though the implementation of an Airport Ambassador Program.

Staffed on a community volunteer basis, Airport Ambassadors are available to inbound and outbound travelers to answer general airport questions, hand out brochures along with free maps and assist travelers any way possible.

“Since its opening in April of 2006, the Visitor Center has been highly active and an overall success,” said Barbara J. Fiala, Broome County Executive. “We are extremely thankful to the many volunteers who take time out of their day for this great cause,” added Fiala.
